How does Our Somewhere find destinations we can both reach?

Enter two departure airports and choose a travel month. Our Somewhere compares scheduled routes and identifies destinations that both travellers may be able to reach on nonstop flights.

These initial results are route candidates. Live ticket availability is checked separately.

Are all the suggested journeys nonstop?

Yes. Our Somewhere searches for destinations with a nonstop route from each departure airport.

Airlines can change schedules, operate routes only on certain days or stop selling tickets. A listed route therefore does not guarantee that suitable tickets are available for your dates.

What do the ticket-status colours mean?

Green — ticket evidence found. Tickets for both nonstop journeys were found on compatible dates. Check the displayed source and time because availability and prices can change.
Yellow — checking or dates checked. A live check is underway, or the sampled dates were checked without finding a paired fare. Other dates in the month may still work.
Grey — not yet confirmed. Both routes appear in the schedule data, but live tickets have not been confirmed. Select Check live tickets to try.
Red — check failed. The ticket provider could not complete the check. This does not mean there are no flights; try again later.

How are live tickets and prices checked?

Our Somewhere checks Google Flights results through SerpApi. It searches a limited selection of matching date ranges during your chosen month rather than every possible date.

You can also open the provided Google Flights and Skyscanner links to compare availability directly. Prices, schedules, baggage rules and availability can change until you complete a booking.

Why might I see no common destinations?

There may be no shared nonstop destination in the current schedule data for your selected airports and month. A route might also operate only during part of the month or on limited days.

Try another month, nearby departure airports or a longer maximum flight time.

Does Our Somewhere store my searches or personal information?

Your shortlist, tutorial progress, privacy choice and some search preferences may be stored in your browser so the site works smoothly.

Optional, privacy-limited analytics remain off unless you allow them. Our Somewhere does not require an account and does not ask for or store passport numbers, home addresses or payment-card details.

Does Our Somewhere earn money from booking links?

Currently, only eligible Kiwi.com links provided through Travelpayouts are affiliate links. Our Somewhere may earn a commission if you book through one, at no extra cost to you.

Google Flights, Skyscanner and Kayak links are not currently affiliate links, and Our Somewhere does not earn commission from them. Affiliate eligibility never changes how destinations are ranked.

Can more than two people use Our Somewhere?

Our Somewhere currently compares two departure locations and checks one-adult fares for each journey.

Several people departing from the same city can still use the results, but ticket availability and prices for the full group must be confirmed on the booking website. Support for additional departure locations and traveller counts may be added later.
